Our Mitigation Inspection provides documentation on approved Insurance Affidavits Forms of the wind resistant features on your buildings. Our scope of work includes an interview of the property representative(s), a review of the building plans, a visual assessment of the roof for each insured building, shutters of other opening protection, and an inspection of the attic spaces of the buildings.  

We deliver your report no later than 7 days after completion of the field work. We record the inspection findings onto an approved State of Florida Mitigation Verification Affidavit which you then submit to your Property Insurer. The report is certified by one of the following entities as required by the State of Florida:

• Licensed Roofing Contractor
• Resident Licensed General
• Residential or Building Contractor
• Licensed Building Inspector
• Registered Architect, Engineer in the State of FL
• Building Code Official in the State of FL

Receive the approved Insurance Affidavits Forms of the M1 as well as a Mitigation Recommendations Report. 

The Mitigation Recommendations Report identifies retrofits or repairs that once implemented will increase the wind-resistance of the building (harden the building) which may subsequently qualify buildings for greater wind policy premium discounts.
